How Yolenn often finds herself building bridges between worlds, cultures and life transitions
     

Born in France and raised bilingually in a world straddling different cultures, Yolenn’s life journey has taken her through various countries and across many facets of the human experience: supporting people through challenging and life-changing situations has made her an experienced bridge-builder. Her work is a synthesis of medical knowledge, spiritual practice and artistic expression. She has found her calling in using her intuitive wisdom to support people with a sense of humour through transformative phases of their lives.

Yolenn’s strengths include:

  • over 25 years’ experience on stage as an artist, performer and jester
  • over 20 years’ experience as a midwife
  • over 15 years’ experience in shamanic ritual work
  • over 10 years’ experience as a kinesiologist
  • Yolenn’s diverse background and intercultural encounters (fluent in German, French and Italian; good command of English)

  • Assistant and shamanic training with Klaus Hüer between 2012 and 2021

  • Shaman Practitioner at the IACFS (Academy for International Shamanism 2023/24)

  • Fooling with Hilde Cromheecke and Franki Anderson

  • Hospital clown with Rote Nasen e.V. since 2018

  • Single-wheel artist, performer & clown since 1998 (1998: Circus Monti; 1999–2018: touring numerous international street theatre festivals with the companies ‘Cirqu’Oui’ and ‘Platzregen’)

  • Performing arts school in Ticino (Scuola Teatro Dimitri) 1994–1997
